We built the dashboard we wished we had.

Most people in their 40s are aging faster than their calendar age suggests. Most of them have no idea. Eumaia exists to change that.

eu·mai·a

/juːˈmaɪ.ə/

noun, Ancient Greek philosophy

A spin on Eudaimonia — the ancient Greek ideal of human flourishing, fulfilment, and living in alignment with one's highest potential. Aristotle believed this was the highest human good — not happiness as a feeling, but as a way of living fully. We believe your biology should not be the thing standing between you and that.

The story behind Eumaia

The longevity science available today is extraordinary — PhenoAge, epigenetic clocks, biomarker-driven interventions, Zone 2 protocols, peptide stacks. The researchers behind it (Levine, Horvath, Patrick, Kaeberlein, San Millán) have published their work, and the popularisers who brought it to millions (Sinclair, Huberman, Asprey, Attia) have made it part of mainstream conversation. The data is there.

But it's scattered across podcasts, papers, YouTube deep-dives, and expensive clinics. To actually use it, you need to synthesise hundreds of hours of content, understand which biomarkers matter, and figure out which interventions apply to your specific biology.

That's the gap Eumaia fills. We take Morgan Levine's PhenoAge algorithm (one of the most clinically validated biological age models from standard blood tests), combine it with a digital twin simulator, an AI advisor informed by 20+ longevity research frameworks, and a protocol library mapped to your specific biomarker profile.

The result: a platform that estimates your biological age, shows you which markers are driving it, and surfaces the research-backed protocols most relevant to your profile.

How Eumaia works

Measure

Estimate your biological age using the PhenoAge algorithm — the same validated framework used in longevity research. Not a generic quiz. A research-based model using 9 blood biomarkers.

Simulate

Model the estimated impact of protocols before you try them. Adjust one variable — sleep, glucose, CRP, VO2 max — and see how it may shift your biological age estimate.

Optimise

Get research-informed protocols drawn from the publicly available work of leading longevity researchers — mapped to your specific biomarker profile, not generic health advice.

Track

Monitor your biological age month over month. Know whether your interventions are actually working — measured in years, not feelings.

The science

Eumaia's biological age engine is built directly on the PhenoAge algorithm developed by Dr. Morgan Levine at Yale University (2018) and validated on over 11,000 participants from the NHANES dataset. It uses 9 blood biomarkers — albumin, creatinine, glucose, CRP, lymphocyte percentage, MCV, RDW, ALP, and WBC — to calculate a mortality-weighted biological age score more predictive of health outcomes than chronological age alone.

The Simulator extends PhenoAge with adjustments for VO2 max (Iñigo San Millán's longevity metric), sleep quality (Walker / Huberman protocols), homocysteine (a validated cardiovascular and cognitive aging marker — Smith & Refsum, Annual Review of Nutrition, 2016), HbA1c, and lifestyle factors — giving you a full-picture biological age with modifiable levers you can actually act on.

All content on Eumaia is synthesised from publicly available research and published expert protocols. We are an educational platform — not a clinical service. Always work with your healthcare provider.
